As part of my bachelor’s thesis, I explored the topic of print finishing techniques in fiction book cover design. The research focused on current methods, materials, and production processes, analyzing how different finishing techniques can enhance the visual and tactile quality of book covers.
In addition to the theoretical research, the project included a practical component in which I redesigned three book covers by Agatha Christie. The designs were developed with a strong focus on the deliberate use of various print finishing techniques.
